New Curriculum “AI in Employment”
Preparing Young People for an AI-Driven Job Market
Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the world of work. From recruitment processes to emerging professions, AI is reshaping the skills needed to thrive in today’s—and tomorrow’s—labour market.
To support young people and those who work with them in navigating this transition, the AI4Youth consortium has developed the AI in Employment curriculum. This educational resource offers both a critical and practical perspective on how AI impacts employment and how to prepare the next generation to engage with this evolving landscape.
The curriculum is structured around six thematic chapters:
- Introduction to AI and its applications in employment
- The impact of AI on the future of work
- Ethics and bias in artificial intelligence in the workplace
- The use of AI in HR and recruitment processes
- AI and the professional future of young people
- Essential skills for working with AI
Each chapter combines theoretical content, educational methodologies, and practical activities that can be used in youth and professional training contexts.
This curriculum is the result of a process of research, pedagogical design, and collective validation by organisations from Spain, Serbia, and Brussels. It is part of the resources developed within the European project AI4Youth, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
