Introducing the “AI in Education” Curriculum
A resource to understand the impact of Artificial Intelligence in teaching
Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a thing of the future—it is already part of our classrooms, workplaces, and daily lives.
Aware of the challenges and opportunities this brings for young people and those who support them, the AI4Youth project consortium has developed a new educational resource: the AI in Education curriculum.
This curriculum has been designed as a practical tool to help educators, trainers, and youth professionals better understand the role of AI in education and critically reflect on its impact. It is structured around four thematic chapters:
- The impact of AI on the future of education
- The role of educators and youth professionals in the AI era
- AI development: ethics, bias, and human rights
- New forms of youth participation and social change through AI
The curriculum combines theoretical insights with practical activities, key readings, reflective questions, and additional resources.
Its aim is to empower educational staff to guide young people in the conscious and ethical use of AI technologies.

This curriculum is part of a series of materials created within the framework of the AI4Youth European project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme and developed by organisations from Spain, Serbia, and Brussels.
